THIS IS A VERY NICE OLDER - I THINK - AND MAYBE VINTAGE - IIDA BANJO. GOOD PLAYER.

This is one of those that always seems in tune when pulled out of the case no matter what. OF course for shipping I would have to un-tune it, possibly putting it out of tune for the first time in decades.

THIS HAS A NICE HARD CASE, AND AN EARL SCRUGGS BANJO BOOK ALONG WITH A CASSETTE TAPE, SO IF YOU STILL HAVE A CASSETTE DECK, AND WANT TO LEARN BANJO, THIS HERE IS THE TICKET!

This thing is a player, but does have a few cosmetic issues, and I've added a few extra pics to show these. Where the 5th string capo was put on, the screw either stripped out, or was put where owner did not want it because there a couple of small holes like it was tried just below where it is first. Easily filled in by someone that would want not to look at such. Also on the tone ring is a hole where I'm guessing there was a hook to latch a strap to. When I got it the strap was attached to a lug. Maybe that's why, because somewhere along the way that piece got missing. Besides this there are a few dings and such here and there, including a couple on back side of neck like it was laid against something quite often, and not always gently. They must have played this thing with gusto. It weighs about 6 to 7 pounds by my bathroom scale, and in case total is about 15 pounds.

ALTHOUGH THIS IS NOT PERFECT, IT'S A GREAT PLAYER IN MY OPINION. A GOOD STUDIO PIECE OR LIVE PLAYER I DO THINK, THOUGH I'M NOT A LIVE BANJO PLAYER. MY ONLY REAL PLAY IS SMALL PARTS ON RECORDINGS.

Let me know if you got questions. Sold in solid good sounding used condition AS IS.

THANKS FOR LOOKING.
