<>These are great cassette decks with many recording features.
PITCH control is a very cool feature if you have old tapes you want to archive but were recorded on some deck where speed was off a little.
I have used this some, but just not enough.  I was doing some mixing down years back in analog, and using these units.  A couple years back I just found it much easier to skip the step and go straight to computer in mix down.  

Although tough to find these days, high quality "HI Bias" cassettes are still out there to be found.  And you will need those if you want to do truly high quality recordings.  Not to say you can't use this with the "High Output" & "Normal Bias" and "High Fidelity" tapes.  You can and this deck will still do good.  BUTTTTT, for the best in a high quality recordings, HI Bias tapes blow those others away; in my opinion always have and always will.

There is also an interesting computer style connection on the back of this thing labeled "remote control".
