super nice clean original / sounds awesome and has live or studio application

Are the pots scratchy? No scratchy in pots I hear at all accept for Midrange EQ knob in the 0 to 3 range only, and the Reverb button specifically around 7. They only scratch a little in those regions, not the full sweep of the knob.

Do they work properly? They all do what they should, including the 2 pull switches for "pull bright" and "pull thick".

Any speaker buzz or rattle? I believe the speaker is very solid. ON clean sound I cranked here up pretty loud to rattle a couple of snare drums in the store and hit the Low E string over and over. The only crackle I detected was actually coming from the dangling guitar cable rattling in the jack I suppose. I say this because when I held the cable end at the amp jack tight with one hand I could get none of the little scratch or rattle I was hearing. So again, I think the speaker is in good solid shape and looks like a square back magnet original to many of these amps.

Does the reverb work properly? YES

Do both inputs function properly? Both inputs work, though the one closest to the edge of the amp is a little bent like a cable may have been in at one point and got hit pretty hard. Besides this they seem to function properly with one giving a little hotter signal than the other (input 2 has a 6db lower input than input 1 according to studio pro 40 manual).  

These amps are under rated in my opinion.  You can get a very cool and warm sound with these if you work with them.  Especially if you got the original square back Eminence Speaker in it.  This one is very clean.  Far left input jack is a little bent like a cable was bumped into while plugged into that jack.  Does not affect functioning, and not very noticeable and besides this, this unit is showroom quality in my opinion.  Even has an amp cover that I think is original to the amp.
