(at bottom of description see 6 photos you can enlarge to take a
closer look)
This album cover is identical to others I have seen being sold.
But on the inside, the label on the record itself shows this as a
promotional copy for radio stations, unlike the official Mercury ( blue
I think ) Label. I have no idea if that means it's worth a lot
more, the same, or less. I'll let ebay-ites be the judge of that.
Plays good on our instore record player with FOLLOWING EXCEPTIONS.
A FEW MINOR POPS AND at the end of side 2, at the end of the last
song, it has a pop that wants to stick on my player, that classic over
and over thing.
THIS IS THE MAX ROACH 4 playing Charlie Parker with Kenny Dorham,
Hank Mobley, Nelson Boyd and George Coleman. If you can't
put this record on, and like totally chill out, then something is wrong
with you. Vinyl is good for the soul, and I really miss the old
analog days. I have a turntable or 2 for sale myself, but I don't
like shipping them because they seem fragile to me to do such.
SIDE A
1) Yardbird Suite 2) Confirmation 3)
Ko-Ko -- all by Charlie Parker
SIDE B
1) Billie's Bounce 2) Apres-vouse 3) Parker's
Mood -- also all by Charlie Parker
THE ALBUM JACKET HAS SOME WRITING ON THE BACK OF IT.
BASICALLY IN GOOD SHAPE.
This album is in good shape. Plays good on our instore record
player with only a few pops. I did just notice at the end of side
2, at the end of the last song, it has a pop that wants to stick on my
player, that classic over and over thing.
AGAIN, IN VERY GOOD SHAPE BUT SOLD "AS IS"
