The wood on these is beautiful, and in my opinion somewhere in between the sound of mahogany and rosewood. I have been using it live some to show it off, and it is a great gig piece. I personally prefer the L Body guitar of Larrivee, mostly because I have gotten used to that neck width. I know a 16th of an inch is not much, but I can really tell. I like the Parlor, OM and L Body necks and have just gotten used to them. It is good for me though to play standard width necks and my electric sometimes just so I don't get in a rut and too much of a routine. Keeps me on my toes OR fingers.
